More than 70 nonprofit and community organizations will participate this week as the Cincinnati Regional Chamber opens a first-of-its-kind volunteer fair aimed at connecting residents, professionals and companies with causes across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
The Volunteer & Engagement Fair takes place Wednesday, May 13, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at CityLink Center, 800 Bank St. Admission is free, and attendees may drop in at any time.
The event is part of the chamber’s celebration of 50 years of leadership development through its Leadership Center.
Participating organizations span youth development, arts and culture, health and human services, environmental stewardship and workforce development. Groups include ArtsWave, Asianati, Freestore Foodbank, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati and United Way of Greater Cincinnati.
Attendees can explore volunteer roles, discover causes and learn how to deepen personal or company-wide community engagement, whether through hands-on volunteering, board service or broader community partnerships.
“This milestone year is not just about celebrating the past 50 years of leadership. It’s about activating the next generation of civic leadership,” said Sean Comer, vice president of the Leadership Center at the Cincinnati Regional Chamber. “We know that strong communities are built by people who show up, get involved and give back. This event is designed to make it easier for anyone to find their place in that work.”
Attendees are encouraged to register in advance.
