David Sedaris

David Sedaris

David Sedaris doesn’t really need much of an introduction. If you don’t know who he is, read any of his poignant, hilarious, sardonic and masterful collections of personal essays: Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, When You are Engulfed in Flames and his latest, Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll understand why he’s one of the best humorists and social critics of our time, and simultaneously wish to be from and be thankful you aren’t part of his large Greek family from Raleigh, N.C. (which includes sister Amy Sedaris, a brilliant comedian, author and actress in her own right).

7:30 p.m. Monday. $40-$54. Music Hall, 1241 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine, cincinnatiarts.org.
