The Third Annual BockFest Blow will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the River City Works in Over-the-Rhine, where glass blowers from the Cincinnati Art Academy will create a glass stein trophy for the winner of the best parade entry.

The Bockfest parade is lead by a goat pulling a keg. It travels up Main Street and ends with the blessing of the bock beer. This officially marks the beginning of a weekend of festive celebration. Goats, the German Renaissance, beer, irreverence and originality are all highly esteemed aspects of a parade entry.
