Motorists should prepare to add a little extra time to their commutes soon.
Crews will hit the Norwood Lateral (state route 562) for litter clean-up and maintenance during the week of Oct. 4, a release from the Ohio Department of Transportation says. Crews also will repair guardrails, clear drains and perform other upkeep.
To accommodate the effort, there will be single-lane closures 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, and Tuesday, Oct. 5, on eastbound 562. The closures switch to the westbound side 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, and Thursday, Oct. 7.
Weather could affect the timing or lane closures, but motorists should expect to see crews throughout the week on the Lateral.
