The Contemporary Arts Center’s Performance series programming for 2015 gets underway when Emmy Award-winning composer/sound designer/producer Deru (Benjamin Wynn) performs the compositions from his album 1979, which was inspired by a time capsule he found at a flea market. A concept album, performance and sculptural object in one, the presentation includes layered electronic tracks and video projections, with assistance from EFFIXX creative director Anthony Ciannamea.
