Walden is the superb Indie Folk project of singer/songwriter Ethan Samuel Brown, who was born in eastern Kentucky, grew up in the suburbs of Cincinnati and, when he was 18, moved to Nashville.
The songwriter calls Walden an “acoustic, brass Folk band” and “collaborative solo effort,” with his mesmerizing writing at the core, fleshed out with a sublime variety of horns, strings, piano and other instruments. Brown is bringing Walden to town this weekend in support of their stellar 2013 debut release, an EP titled Before I Wake.
