Up-and-coming writer Martín Zimmerman’s new play is about mourning and loss in a Latin American village recovering from a brutal civil war. When a plague threatens the town’s children, a reclusive doctor discovers he has a magical ability to heal. But it’s complicated.
KJ Sanchez, one of the Playhouse’s new artistic associates, herself a playwright, is directing the show in the Thompson Shelterhouse.
