Today’s the day to begin your marathon of creative, off-brand theater. At storefronts and stages throughout Over-the-Rhine, Know Theatre of Cincinnati hosts roughly 30 brief shows (most are around an hour long or less) using theater, dance, movement, sound, images, music and more to tell stories, create illusions and — bottom line — to experiment and entertain simultaneously.

Part of the joy of the Fringe is in finding things you didn’t expect — some performances will be good, some will be stupid, but you’ll have a good time at most everything. Performers earn half the box office for each performance, so your ticket payments will support people who do this because they love it. But they also need to pay for gas to get here — more than half of the performers are from out-of-town — and for food and such.
Be an arts patron and have fun at the same time! That’s Fringe. Tickets are $12 per show, and multi-show passes are also available.
