In a culinary marriage that’s making Cincinnatians go, “What took you so long?!”, Skyline Chili announced a new item on its menu Monday.

Mac and Cheese Ways are now on Skyline’s menu — but for a limited time. Described as the cheesiest menu item, the Mac and Cheese Way features cavatappi pasta in a three-cheese blend and topped with Skyline chili and freshly shredded Wisconsin cheddar.

So how are Skyline fans reacting to the news? As any good Cincinnati chili lover would:

“Yes, wreck my stomach in a new way,” wrote Facebook user Brittani.

“Been doing this for years at home. Glad to see y’all finally came around,” wrote another Facebook user named Steve.

…As well as with a little snark:

“Looks like that would pair well with an ice cold Mountain Dew!” X (formerly Twitter) user @Mitch57740700 wrote, referencing Skyline’s initially ill-received move from Pepsi to Coke products this past spring.

Skyline says the Mac and Cheese Way will be available at all locations through the holiday season, but you should call ahead to check its availability.
