Heavy Cincinnati rockers Electric Citizen are playing in Seattle tonight (Oct. 10), then continuing their tour with Hard Rock titans Monster Magnet as it winds through California, then throughout the south before wrapping up with dates in New York and Boston.
Yesterday through the site Dangerous Minds, Electric Citizen premiered a new music video that likely provided some fond memories of their hometown, in case the musicians were feeling homesick. The clip is for the single “Hide It In The Night,” one of the standout tracks on EC’s new album, Helltown.
Centered around a late-night parking-lot rumble, there are a lot of Cincinnati co-stars in the video, including members of fellow Cincinnati Rock group Leggy (and a full-on stuntperson crew!). The video — shot at the Felsenbrau warehouse building on McMicken Street in Over-the-Rhine — was directed and produced by Grant Meeker and Alex Constante.
