Kroger Wellness Festival
Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days on Fifth Street in Downtown Cincinnati
Kroger’s annual Wellness Festival returns with celebrity guests like actor Rob Lowe, Olympic medalist Laurie Hernandez, chef and Food Network star Alex Guarnaschelli and actor and comedian Joel McHale. Guests can take part in more than 200 panel discussions, cooking demonstrations, wellness experiences, a silent disco party and musical performances, including free shows by The All-American Rejects on Friday and Third Eye Blind on Saturday.

Art After Dark: Hidden Gems
Friday, Sept. 26 from 5-9 p.m. at the Cincinnati Art Museum (953 Eden Park Drive, Mt. Adams)
Enjoy art, music from DJ Big Sana, performances from Cincinnati’s Asian pop dance group NIF-D, food, drinks, tours and live painting at the art museum’s monthly Art After Dark. Visitors will also have after-hours access to Rediscovered Treasures — an exhibit of almost 60 artworks selected from the museum’s East Asian Art collection. Admission to the event is free, and you do not need to register beforehand.

Every last Friday of the month, you can shop a selection of artworks from over 200 artists — one of the largest collections of artistic talent under a single roof. Artists will open their studios to the public for the night, and you can also visit the eighth floor to see the Verdin Gallery display. This month’s theme is CHANGE — “Not only the change of seasons, but personal, societal, and environmental changes—capturing its complexities, challenges, and transformative power. Explore how change shapes our world, both seen and unseen,” the art center says.

Paradise on the Point

This free music festival will feature beer from Rhinegeist, food and craft vendors, Fowling Warehouse fowling lanes and a bounce house and obstacle course for kids to enjoy. The lineup includes Grateful Dead tribute band Hyder, Ernie Johnson From Detroit, Houseplant, Mind At Large, Harold, Cheaper Than Therapy and more. Each night following the music festival, those 21 and older can enjoy a free afterparty at the Rhinegeist taproom with Departure Lounge.
