While March Madness basketball brings a bunch of net swishes, Mutt Madness at Washington Park this weekend will have all the tail swishes.
On Saturday, March 16, the pooches will take over the Over-the-Rhine park for a special adoption event. Mutt Madness will feature plenty of adoptable dogs, and you can even adopt them on-site. If you’re not ready to commit to adopting, you can also learn more about fostering.
Cincinnati Animal CARE posted on social media Monday that it will be featuring some of its dogs in Mutt Madness, and you can watch its Facebook page this week as it posts some of its “MVPs.”
In addition to the adoption event, there will also be local dog-centric vendors in the park with plenty of goodies you can buy for your pup. You can also donate animal food while there.
Mutt Madness is free and open to the public, and all dogs are welcome. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16.
