Huh, what’s that gorgeous sound? If you’ve ever daydreamed about a classically trained musician supplying the soundtrack to your life, that wish can briefly come true this Saturday.
Christine Kim, a graduate of UC’s College-Conservatory of Music with a master’s in violin performance, will be reprising her role from the closing ceremony of 21c Museum Hotel’s Future is Female exhibition by giving a violin performance on a balcony above the busy Walnut Street sidewalk for an hour and a half.
Whether you’re looking to camp out for a free Classical concert, make the perfect romantic sidewalk date or just catch some beautiful music as you’re making your way downtown, keep an ear out for Kim’s virtuosic strings filling the air.
5:30-7 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 23). Free. 21c Museum Hotel, 609 Walnut St., Downtown, facebook.com/21ccincinnati.
