The fourth annual Cincinnati Storytelling Festival returns to Westwood this November for a weekend of fairy tales, scary stories, comedic chronicles and everything in between.
The Cincinnati Storytelling Festival was co-founded four years ago in 2020 by professional storyteller and theater artist Paul Strickland, with the ultimate goal of bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together through the power of storytelling.
The Cincinnati Storytelling Festival takes place on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. and spans across West Side Brewing, the Westwood Town Hall and the Westwood Branch of the Cincinnati Public Library.
The festival will feature three days packed full of storytelling events from nationally recognized storytellers like Lyn Ford of Ohio, Andy Offutt Irwin of Georgia and Strickland.
Stories will be told from a variety of genres and topics, with “Gather Round” and “Twisted Tales” on Thursday, “Laugh Riot” and “Spooky Stories” on Friday and “Children’s Stories,” “Old Tales Told New,” and “Two Truths and a Truth, Hosted by a Liar” on Saturday.
All storytelling events are suitable for adults and children 13 and up, with the exception of Thursday’s “Twisted Tales.”
