A new place to play pickleball is expected to open in Greater Cincinnati this spring.
Pickleball Kingdom, an indoor pickleball franchise, announced Monday that it would be opening a facility in the Mason area, with a target opening date in April or May. The facility will be located at 12130 Royal Point Drive and span 33,000 square feet, with 12 professional-grade indoor courts.
“Cincinnati has an incredible pickleball community. It is one of the fastest-growing hotspots for the sport in the Midwest,” Ace Rodrigues, founder and CEO of Pickleball Kingdom, said in a press release. “We are committed to providing the ultimate pickleball experience, and this facility will not only serve as a recreational hub but also as a vibrant community space for Cincinnati and beyond.”
Pickleball Kingdom says its Greater Cincinnati facility will offer 12 state-of-the-art courts that combine outdoor court surfaces with indoor benefits, engineered to deliver the best playing conditions. The Greater Cincinnati location will also offer leagues and tournaments, as well as professional coaching and clinics and programs for kids. It can also host community and corporate events.
The facility is franchised by co-leaders of Pickleball X, Dhaval Patel and Sanjay Patel. The team has extensive experience in managing service businesses, franchises and large-scale developments, according to Pickleball Kingdom.
“The rapid growth of pickleball excites us, and our mission is to make this incredible sport accessible to everyone,” Dhaval Patel said. “We believe life is better with pickleball, and we’re eager to bring that philosophy to Cincinnati.”
