The Newport Oktoberfest has been called off due to food vendor availability and staffing issues.
In a Facebook post, organizers said they were “forced to cancel 2021 Newport Oktoberfest.” The event was initially planned to run Sept. 24-26.

“We had a lot of issues with vendor availability; obviously a lot of restaurants in town have issues with staffing, and that carried over to our event. So, unfortunately, we are forced to cancel it for 2021,” David Wertheim of event producer ColdIron Enterprises Inc. told Local 12.
If you’re looking to get your festival kick, Loveland Oktoberfest is still going on this weekend, Sept. 24 and 25. The final Cincinnati area German heritage festival, Donauschwaben Oktoberfest, is planned for Oct. 1-3.
