16-Bit Bar+Arcade is leveling up for National Video Game Day aka Sept. 12.
The bar is hosting a Mario Kart tournament to yes, raise funds for the Gamers Outreach Foundation — a nonprofit organization “that provides recreation to children in hospitals through the power of video games and the gaming community” — but also to bestow a $200 gift card and bragging rights on the tournament champion.
It costs $10 to enter the single-elimination competition and the entry fee includes a draft beer or mocktail. Registration is now open.
Gaming begins at 8 p.m. Sept. 12 at 16-Bit, 1331 Walnut St., Over-the-Rhine.
