Over-the-Rhine’s Washington Park will host a two-day egg hunt this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, March 27-28) as part of its annual tradition.
Scavengers — both young and young at heart — can search for six different eggs, which are individually wrapped and handed out by staff members throughout the park.
This event is a new variation on the traditional egg hunt to promote social distancing and discourage high-touch items.
Participants should arrive between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on either day. They will receive a specialized card with each colorful egg listed. When they find an egg, they can mark it off on their card. Once a scavenger finds every egg, they can bring their card to the check-in area to pick up a prize.
To join in the fun, families are highly encouraged to pre-register to save their spot. Saturday has already been sold out, but people can still register for Sunday.
