Photos: Reds lose to Dodgers 4-1

Reds lost 4-1 Monday in the first of a four-game home series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Nick Lodolo took the loss against Tarik Skubal (among the best pitchers in the league), allowing four runs in seven innings on only three hits. However, two of those hits were home runs by Kyle Tucker and Teoscar Hernández, and two of his four walks had scored.

The Reds’ only offensive highlight was an Elly De La Cruz monumental home run (his 27th) in the ninth inning that left the ball park, just past the right tall stack in right-centerfield. Following this series, the Reds will face the Chicago Cubs Friday through Sunday for their final home games of the season.
