Shake off the cabin fever and winter blues at Washington Park’s annual beer festival, Mittenfest, this February.

The fourth-annual Mittenfest is happening Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 17-18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The event will feature craft beer from Cincinnati area breweries, local DJs, food from Mazunte and fun surprises, say organizers.

Participating breweries include:

  • Rhinegeist
  • Taft’s Brewing
  • Fifty West
  • Braxton Brewery
  • Sam Adams
  • The Motors Brewing Company
  • Streetside Brewery
  • West Side Brewing
  • Bad Tom Smith
  • 16 Lots
  • Moerlein
  • Hudy Delight
  • Little Kings
  • Voodoo Brewing
  • Wiedemann
  • Northwood Cider Co.

Tickets are $25 if you buy them online from now until Feb. 16; walk-up tickets will be $30. Your Mittenfest ticket will get you five beer tickets, as well as a ticket for a Coca-Cola product, including water, and a ticket that will be redeemable for a draft beer at a participating taproom.

You will need to pick your tickets up on the day of the event at the Washington Park concession stand nearest to Music Hall Plaza. Make sure to bring a valid ID showing you’re 21 or older.

The event is dog- and family-friendly, and Washington Park will still be open to the public, so you don’t need a ticket to access the park, only the beer. The Porch bar will also be open with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options if you’re not drinking at Mittenfest.

Washington Park, 1230 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine. For more information, visit Mittenfest’s Facebook event page.
