A giant new 22,000-square-foot attraction is headed to Kenwood Towne Centre.
BRKTHROUGH, an “immersive game room” with over 40 different challenge rooms and two private event spaces, will open next Monday, July 13, at the mall. It will be located near the food court on the lower level.
At BRKTHROUGH — which has four other locations across the country in Texas, Minnesota, Kansas, and Arizona — guests will join teams of two to four and enter one of the venue’s ‘immersive’ rooms, covered in screens and obstacles, to compete against other teams in challenges.
Each room’s game falls into three categories: mental, physical or skill. For example, “Footloose” is a fast-moving physical challenge built around energy, timing and teamwork, while the mental challenge “Hidden Eyes” leans into mystery and deduction, testing players’ observation and memory skills.

There’s a kitchen and dining area at BRKTHROUGH, too, which is cheekily titled the “BRK ROOM.” It offers a curated menu of flatbreads, burgers and other classic fare, while a self-pour tap wall offers a selection of local craft beers, ciders and seltzers.
