A prominent local artist will have his work displayed at a major arts festival next month.

Paul Kroner, a Cincinnati-based sculptor and artist who runs the downtown gallery Studio Kroner, has been selected to compete in the 40th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Collective Exhibition at Agora Gallery in New York City. Three of his bronze sculptures will be featured in the international juried exhibition, which will be on view August 1–15, 2026, in Manhattan’s Chelsea arts district.

Selected from a competitive international pool of submissions, the exhibition brings together contemporary artists from around the world and offers a platform for emerging and established artists to present their work in one of New York City’s leading gallery districts.

The three works selected for the exhibition — “Crow’s Feet,” “Micah,” and “Twood Love” — reflect Kroner’s idiosyncratic style, as he often refuses to constrain himself by working within a single style or medium.

“One of the things I enjoy most about making art is never knowing exactly where an idea will end up,” Kroner said. “I’m honored to have these three sculptures included in this year’s exhibition and excited to share them with audiences in New York.”
