A Super Bowl season keeps paying off for young Cincinnati Bengals stars.

Bengals wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins star in a new ad for Nike. Released on May 10 as an Instagram reel, the ad hypes up Nike's latest football glove, the Vapor Jet 7, complete with the brand's signature swoosh. In the reel, Chase and Higgins are wearing white Vapor Jet gloves while posing, tossing and catching a football on a stadium field.
Chase and Higgins also are featured in a series of photos in a Nike Instagram post, wearing the same gloves and gear
Chase was named the NFL's 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year just days before he took the field at Super Bowl LVI in February. Chase, a first-round draft pick, had a stellar 2021-2022 season, pulling down 81 catches for 1,455 yards along with 13 touchdowns. He set a new Bengals record for receiving yards during the regular season and has more than any rookie since the Super Bowl was created in 1966, among other accomplishments. Chase is just the third Bengals player to win Offensive Rookie of the Year and the first since 1992.

Higgins also had a noteworthy season, notching 74 receptions for 1,091 yards and six touchdowns. During the Super Bowl, the wide receiver had four catches for 100 yards and brought in the team's two touchdowns.

Both Chase and Higgins both were honored with temporary street signs in Cheviot as the Bengals made their Super Bowl run in February. Glenmore Avenue became Chase Drive, while Davis Avenue became Tee Higgins Drive. And this year, Chase presented MLB's National League Rookie of the Year award to Cincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (Several Bengals have thrown ceremonial first pitches before Reds games in 2022, including quarterback Joe Burrowcornerback Eli Apple, safety Vonn Bell, defensive end Trey Hendrickson and kicker Evan McPherson).
The Bengals won't be on the NFL's international tour, the league announced recently, but the team will head to New Orleans for their own matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Burrow played at Louisiana State University in 2018 and 2019, earning the Heisman Trophy and a host of other awards. Likewise, Chase excelled at LSU in 2018 and 2019 and earned numerous awards, including being named the best receiver in college football.

On Feb. 13, the Bengals lost 20-23 to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI, Cincinnati's first shot at the Vince Lombardi trophy since 1989.

In February, the Bengals announced the team's home and away opponents for the 2022-2023 season. The NFL is expected to release the full season's calendar on May 12.
