To kick off Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week (Sept. 23-29), CityBeat threw our annual Meet the Chefs party, inviting guests to meet a few of the local chefs who are participating in the upcoming event: David Bever of The View at Shires’ Gardens, Jack Hemmer of Nicola’s and Shawn Heine of Prime.
The celebration was held at Fueled Collective and offered a sneak-peek tasting of what a few restaurants may be serving during Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week. Along with bites, we sampled cocktails crafted with GCRW sponsor Maker’s Mark and guests could take home a Maker’s Mark glass hand-dipped in the distillery’s signature red wax.
In addition to treats, a Q&A was held led by WWE ring announce Greg Hamilton giving guests the opportunity to ask the chefs about their favorite dishes, recipe advice and life as a chef.
