On Monday, Graeter’s Ice Cream released its sixth bonus flavor of the summer, and its decadence makes it the perfect indulgent treat for these last few days of summer.

Each year, the local favorite French pot ice cream maker releases several secret bonus flavors over the summer, and it has just unveiled the next in line: Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Graeter’s describes the flavor as a combination of rich, velvety chocolate ice cream with raspberry swirl and chunks of chocolate truffles.

“The balance of chocolate and tart raspberries offers a sophisticated taste that’s both rich and refreshing, perfect for enjoying as we transition from summer to the cooler days ahead,” Graeter’s said in a press release.

Each bonus flavor remains a secret until the day of its release, and will only be available for a limited time. Graeter’s says, “Once the flavor is gone from scoop shops and online, the flavor is retired for the year.”

Graeter’s first bonus ice cream flavor was Peanut Brittle, which featured a butterscotch base mixed with praline peanuts, followed by Hawaiian Wedding Cake, a decadent mix of coconut and pineapple flavors; Strawberry Lime Fiesta, a zesty combination of strawberries, lime ice cream and salty, spicy lime flakes; the nostalgia-fueled Banana Pudding ice cream; and most recently the zesty Orange Sorbet.
