Fishbowl at The Banks celebrated its grand opening on Oct. 3. The newest addition to The Banks lineup of bars has signature drinks served in fishbowls and a beach-party themed atmosphere.
There are currently six different fishbowl cocktails available, including Shark Bite, which has gummy candy, and White Claw Wave, which comes garnished with a can of White Claw.
Fishbowls start at $20 for a regular and go up to $50 for a large, if you want to share with friends.
The bar’s surfboard tables, colorful bar stools, freshwater fish tank and ocean-like epoxy floor help customers feel less like they’re at The Banks and more like they’re at the beach.
Fishbowl at The Banks is owned by Daniel Scott, a Newport native who you may know better as DJ Sab on KISS 107 FM.
Currently the bar is drinks only, but they hope to add a food menu by Nov. 1. Scott says the menu will include several different sandwiches and tater tot creations.
Fishbowl at The Banks is located at 141 E. Freedom Way. Open daily, 4 p.m.- 2 a.m. Hours will vary with events at The Banks. Entertainment includes live bands and DJs.
