In April, Columbus-based Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams opened a new scoop shop in Deerfield Township. Now, they’re getting ready to celebrate their grand opening with free (yes, FREE) ice cream.
The Deerfield Township Jeni’s, located at 5200 District Park Drive, will hold a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, June 4 from 7-11 p.m. Along with free scoops, Jeni’s will also be giving out swag to the first 50 people in line that night and hosting a giveaway. Five guests will win free ice cream for a year (one free Jeni’s signature per week).
To enter the giveaway, download the Jeni’s app, sign up for Jeni’s Splendid Rewards program and scan your rewards app at checkout during the grand opening.
Jeni’s Deerfield Township ice cream menu for the grand opening will include the classic favorites like Brambleberry Crisp and Salty Caramel, as well as the three new summer flavors that officially launch on June 5. Those are:
- Pink Bubblegum: Cherry blossom ice cream swirled with strawberry and tropical fruit
- Toasted S’mores: Toasted marshmallow cream layered with gooey chocolate sauce and golden graham cracker crunch
- Root Beer Float: Birch and sarsaparilla ice cream dotted with pillowy marshmallows
