Owners of Newport on the Levee’s upcoming food hall have announced the first three concepts moving into The Galley on the Levee.

The Galley Group says Los Tacos Hermanos, Four Mile Pig and Zaria Italian Street Eats will open in the food hall later this year.

“We are excited to partner with these well-regarded chefs, who bring their knowledge of the community, as well as their experience in food halls to The Galley,” Chad Ellingboe, CEO of Galley Group, said in a press release.

Los Tacos Hermanos comes from Mapi De Veyra, one of the creators behind DOPE! Asian Street Fare and Decibel Korean Fried Chicken, who is teaming up with some of his former industry colleagues to launch this Mexican-style restaurant. The menu will feature street tacos with a West Coast flare, as well as burritos, tortas, appetizers and sides, like carne asada fries.

Four Mile Pig, helmed by Robert Viox and chef Jarrod Ante, is a small-batch BBQ joint with four locations in Kentucky and Ohio. The fast-casual spot offers a menu of smoked meats and wings, handcrafted sides, authentic Italian beef sandwiches and burgers and six sauces that are bottled in house.

Viox and Ante are also behind Zaria Italian Street Eats, which will offer a mix of pizzas, including gluten-free options; hand-rolled piadas and ready-made and customizable pasta bowls – all using local and fresh ingredients.

The Galley still has one restaurant space available. Interested chefs can apply at press@galleygrp.com.

The Galley will be located in the Central Plaza, next to Bridgeview Box Park.
