Covington’s Oktoberfest will return to Mainstrasse Village this September for a weekend of music, arts, food, drink and celebration of the city’s German culture.

This year, the free, family-friendly event will be a little bit smaller and will focus on the local offerings of Covington businesses. Taking place once again at Goebel Park, the event will run from 5-11 p.m. on Sept. 6, 12 -11 p.m. on Sept. 7 and 12-8 p.m. on Sept. 8.

“In previous years of Covington Oktoberfest, businesses in Covington’s Mainstrasse Village experienced less foot traffic as visitors opted for street food and beer instead of indoor dining,” a press release explains.” This year, restored by local leaders like Braxton Brewing Co., the focus will be put back on local businesses.”

Visit the event page for more info leading up to the event.
