Leggy, Triiibe and PUBLIC Facebook

Some local music favorites will be performing at Bogart’s over the next seven days, opening shows for some notable touring headliners.

• Cincinnati’s PUBLIC returns to the local stage this week. The trio — which last year signed with Island Records and has been riding high on the success of their single “Make You Mine” — has been touring with AltPop acts American Authors and Magic Giant. That tour — dubbed the Band of Brothers Road Show — comes to Bogart’s on Thursday, Feb. 20.

PUBLIC recently released a new music video for “Make You Mine” that serves as a sequel to the original clip for the single. “Make You Mine” has been streamed over 100 million times and Tik Tok users have made over 2.5 million videos with the track, according to a recent press release from Island.

• Another Cincinnati trio — Leggy — are joining Pop Rock band All-American Rejects at Bogart’s on Friday, Feb. 21.

Leggy spent much of last year touring behind their debut full-length album, Let Me Know Your Moon, which was issued last spring by Sheer Luck Records. Later last year they released the music video for the album’s “Not What You Need.”

• Local Hip Hop faves Triiibe will be opening for rapper Cam’ron at Bogart’s on Monday, Feb. 24. A popular and consistent draw on the Cincinnati live music front — as well as tireless activists (or rather “artivists”) — Siri Imani and Pxvce have collaborated regularly with fellow local artists of all stripes. Late last year they did a video with cincymusic.com featuring a jam with Sundae Drives, reigning Cincinnati Entertainment Award winners in the Alternative/Indie category. Triiibe — one of just two local acts playing The National’s Homecoming fest this May — scored the 2019 CEA for Artist of the Year, which they also won in 2018.

Also on the Cam’ron bill are locals DJ Drowsy and pÈRez, who recently released the track “Vogue.”
