Cincinnati Music Festival Announces Thursday Lineup

Organizers announced the lineup of the festival's hip-hop tribute, taking place on the first day of the festival on Thursday, July 25.

The first day of the Cincinnati Music Festival is slated to be a memorable tribute to hip-hop music.

On Tuesday, festival organizers announced the lineup of this hip-hop tribute, taking place on the first day of the festival on Thursday, July 25. According to a press release, the lineup includes hip-hop heavyweights MC Lyte, EPMD, KRS-One and Black Sheep.

“We are thrilled to celebrate Hip Hop Music again at the Cincinnati Music Festival since last year’s concert was so successful," Joe Santangelo, the festival's producer said in a press release. "Thursday night concert will kick off another great weekend of music.”

On Dec. 12, festival organizers revealed in a press release that the 2024 Cincinnati Music Festival will be headlined by Maxwell, Ne-Yo, Fantasia, October London and Lakeside on July 26. New Edition featuring Bobby Brown, Bell Biv DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, KEM, SWV, Stokley and another artist yet to be announced will headline the festival on July 27.


The tribute to hip-hop will take place at the Andrew J Brady Music Center while the performances on July 26 and 27 will take place at Paycor Stadium.

Tickets for Thursday's show at the Andrew J Brady Music Center will go on sale Saturday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. on ticketmaster.com. Tickets for Cincinnati Music Festival performances on July 26 and 27 can be purchased now on ticketmaster.com.
