The best party is a pizza party.

Burrito Boys Booking, the organizers behind Burritofest at The Comet, are putting together a new show this Saturday that promises plenty of pizza, music and good vibes. Pizza Party will be held at Oddfellows Liquor Bar in Over-the-Rhine on Saturday, March 9.

The show, named in honor of Oddfellows’ adjoining pizza joint, Mikey’s Late Night Slice, will offer a variety of genres for all tastes — much like the way pizza offers endless combinations, says the Burrito Boys. Acts include local headliner Fat Sal, a consistent staple in Cincinnati’s indie rock scene the past few years that just released their first EP, Civilianaire, in November.

Other acts include Cincinnati’s favorite sardonic singing cowboy Easy Mark, Akron natives Indré and punk outfit Stokelys, who have collaborated with the Burrito Boys on multiple events over the past year, including the Inaugural Holiday Invitational. The group is also friends with the Indré crew.

“We met them completely by chance last year when our tour of Northeast Ohio got rerouted last minute,” Stokelys members said in a press release. “We were completely blown away by their performance and were happy to put them in touch with the Burrito Boys. We’re pretty sure they’re going places.”

Pizza Party is a 21+ show. Doors open at 7 p.m. Saturday, with music starting at 8 p.m. The cost of admission is $10 and can be bought at eventbrite.com.
