Edible Ohio Valley co-hosts the third annual Farm to Fork: A Celebration of Women Farmers at Grailville. Frances Kroner (chef at Sleepy Bee Café in Oakley) will choreograph dinner and a cocktail reception featuring food sourced from the female farmers the event celebrates, including honorees Sara Frommeyer of Blue Oven Bakery, Karen Huseman of Earth-Shares CSA, Donna Kluba of Kluba Farm and others. Women run 14 percent of U.S. farms and tend to focus on the farm-to-fork movement, environmental sustainability and food security to build local economies.
