Ten years ago, Powerhouse Factories set out to make badass custom posters and connect bands with culture. A decade later, they’ve had years of success — opening a Newport, Ky., storefront and studio and crafting posters for bands like The Black Keys and The Shins. On Friday they’re throwing a shindig to celebrate, complete with a set from Cincinnati indie band PUBLIC. Hang out on the back patio of their Newport store or peruse the poster selection and snag some swag to cover your walls with special anniversary deals.
6 p.m.-midnight, Friday. Free. Powerhouse Factories, 33 E. Ninth St., Newport, Ky., phfdesign.com.
