Fountain Square will begin its St. Paddy’s Day festivities early this year. For 12 hours on Saturday, the square will be transformed into everything Irish. Try a Cheeky Meat Pie and wash it down with a Guinness or Murphy’s Irish Stout. There will be live music with performances by Roger Drawdy & the Firestarters, 9 Castle Close and seven other bands plus a performance from the McGing Irish Dancers. The party continues on Monday with more live music, meat pies and merchandise.
