THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE CLIFTON CULTURAL ARTS CENTER DUE TO THE WEATHER.
Fine art and a colorful childhood pastime collide on the streets of the Clifton business district this weekend. For the seventh year, local artists will turn the pavement on Telford Street into their canvas with vivid, custom-made chalk. Stop by and look for chalktasic re-creations of masterpieces by artists like Picasso and Michelangelo. Got a little budding artist at home? Bring them along to get some hands-on experience. There will be a designated children’s section where your mini Monets can create their own mural. These street paintings evolve quickly, so be sure to check out the scene on both days to get the “before and after” effect. Do a little shopping, grab some lunch and watch Cincinnati artists at work: a perfect little weekend. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Telford Street at Ludlow Avenue.
