World-renowned violinist Joshua Bell returns to Cincinnati to perform Glazunov’s soulful “Violin Concerto,” Tchaikovsky’s “Meditation” and Shostakovich’s “Symphony No. 11,” which explores themes of the Russian Revolution of 1905, with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He’s been called the “poet of the violin” and is a favorite of local audiences. Saturday’s performance features a “Classical Conversation,” an informative and casual conversation with Bell and other members of the CSO. 7:30 p.m. Thursday; 8 p.m. Saturday. $10-$125.
