The Allman Brothers are still a popular touring attraction these days, taking their soulful Blues/Rock sound to outdoor arenas around the country pretty much every summer. But for hardcore local Allman fans, one show every couple of years at Riverbend just isn’t enough. Lucky for them, there’s a new band of local Blues/Rock all-stars offering a staggeringly close replication of the band’s famed live show. No Saints, No Saviors features a cast of local music heavyweights — including Sonny Moorman, Pete Snow and organist Bob Nave (formerly of Cincy hitmakers The Lemon Pipers) — and holds down an every-Monday residency at Shady O’Grady’s in Loveland. Monday night isn’t the easiest day of the week for most of us to get out and do a little Rock & Roll hell-raising, but, given that most of the players have their own projects to tend to on the weekends, it’s the best they can do. Until now. The band throws down at the Madison Theater for a rare Friday night gig this weekend. If a couple of hours of Allman’s classics isn’t enough for you, be sure to show up early for openers Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers, a ZZ Top tribute act. $12.
