The Twelve Dates of Christmas

The Twelve Dates of Christmas

In this 70-minute solo show, Annie Kalahurka plays Mary, a New York actress who comes back to Ohio for Thanksgiving with her family, only to see her fiancé kissing another woman on national TV during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
What follows is a year of bad dates as she tries to move on. Kalahurka plays every character — a pushy aunt, a nervous mom, an array of odd guys and a little boy actor who, as Tiny Tim, gives her a new perspective. Every portrait is clear and crisp, and this amusing holiday entertainment is genuinely heartfelt.
7:30 p.m. nightly through Dec. 21. $25.25. New Edgecliff Theatre at the Know Theatre, 1120 Jackson St., Over-the-Rhine, 513-621-2787, newedgecliff.com.
