Rain hit the Greater Cincinnati area hard last week, causing severe flooding in neighborhoods along rivers, creeks and ponds across the Tri-State, including downtown Cincinnati, Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, Covington, the East End and more. The flooding was so bad in Falmouth, Kentucky, the city underwent a mandatory evacuation order Sunday, which was lifted earlier Monday.

While the Ohio River crested around 60 feet Monday, the National Water Prediction Service’s data show the water will be slow to recede, forecasted to remain at or above 50 feet through at least Friday, with more rain predicted later this week.

All this flooding is causing pain across Greater Cincinnati, from property damage and temporarily closed businesses to rescue crews having to save those who became trapped by the water. CityBeat asked its readers for their photos of the flooding to see the enormous impact it’s having. Keep scrolling to see more.
