The theater scene gets a little thin this time of year, but on Friday and Saturday you can find a double shot for free in Covington. Stop by the Artisans Enterprise Center at 7 p.m. either evening for a multi-faceted program, “Theme and Revelations.” —-You’ll get a one-act play, Duck Variations, by the great playwright David Mamet, and a reprise of a one-woman show that was a hit at the 2008 Cincinnati Fringe Festival: In Rehearsal by CCM drama grad Alison Vodnoy. The latter played to packed houses in June 2008 and toured to several other fringe festivals, so it’s now a well-established work by an accomplished performer who also wrote her own script. “Theme and Revelations” had more than 150 attendees with another program earlier this month. Friday and Saturday also include a performance by guitarist Richard Goering with Evelein Woolard on the flute. The Covington Artisans Enterprise Center is located at 25 West 7th Street in Covington.
