Brothers Osborne collecting their third straight “Vocal Duo of the Year” trophy at the 2018 CMAs Screen grab via ABC

Last night (Nov. 14), T.J. Osborne and John Osborne of Brothers Osborne took home the “Vocal Duo of the Year” award at the 2018 Country Music Association awards ceremony (or CMAs). Earlier this week, the Country twosome announced a fresh string of 2019 tour dates, which include a visit to Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre on Jan. 30.

Tickets for the show (featuring special guests The Wild Feathers) are $29-50-$46.50 and go on sale Friday, Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. Click here and here for details.

The Osborne brothers of Brothers Osborne (not to be confused with Kentucky Bluegrass duo the Osborne Brothers) grew up in Deale, Md. before moving to Nashville to launch their careers. Their first single was released in 2013, but the Brothers really caught on with 2015’s “Stay a Little Longer,” a platinum-selling hit that made it to No. 4 on the Country singles charts and enjoyed extensive radio play. The duo’s two albums have also sold gangbusters; this year’s Port Saint Joe debut at No. 2 on Billboard’s Country album chart.

Brothers Osborne teamed up with Dierks Bentley this year for the hit “Burning Man,” which was featured on Bentley’s album The Mountain. The song was nominated for the “Event of the Year” CMA this year (David Lee Murphy and Kenny Chesney’s “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” won that trophy) and the musicians reteamed to play “Burning Man” on the CMA broadcast.

This was the third year in a row that Brothers Osborne won the Vocal Duo of the Year CMA. “I cant believe we keep winning this. If this was Florida, there’d be a recount,” they said while accepting.
