The Body Talk System was developed in 1995 by Dr. John Veltheim, an Australian chiropractor and acupuncturist. It’s a non-invasive, natural healing technique that doctors, nurses, massage therapists, naturopaths and physical therapists as well as laypeople can learn to help synchronize and balance the body/mind. It’s completely safe and can be used with any health care system; there’s no diagnosis or medication involved and it doesn’t interfere with medical treatment.

The Body Talk practitioner uses a comprehensive protocol of questions to help establish the balancing needs of the body/mind. The innate wisdom of the body is accessed by biofeedback answers involving the organs, endocrine glands or body parts. These parts are then “connected” to heal communication between them at the physiological, biochemical, circulatory, nervous, emotional and/or energy level. This is accomplished by a practitioner who touches the body parts that need repair and gently taps the head to focus and increase brain activity in that direction. Then the chest is tapped to store the changes within the heart energy.

We have a delicate balance between human functions, including our physiology, biochemistry, emotional and mental interactions, environment, heredity and genetics — and there’s a need to synchronize all of these factors to create and maintain health. Once the communications system between all of these parts of the whole have been reestablished and the body/mind is synchronized, clinical results have shown that the body is capable of healing itself at a deep and lasting level.
