Drew Hastings started his comedy career in Dayton, Ohio after running several companies, including a document shredding concern.
“I was better at selling the service than doing the actual shredding,” he says. He turned to comedy full time to see if he could make a living at it, which he did.
A successful and respected performer, he left Los Angeles, bought a farm in Hillsboro, Ohio and subsequently ran for mayor. He won.
