New Skeletal Remains Found in North Fairmount Not Believed to be Linked to Jane Doe Case

The Cincinnati Police Department is conducting a death investigation in the Fairmount neighborhood after skeletal remains were found  on Feb. 14.

CPD said the remains were found near the 1700 block of Fairmount Avenue, but did not specify how the remains were discovered.

Lt. Jonathan Cunningham said the remains are believed to be associated with a missing person case from April 2022. Cunningham said investigators have no evidence linking this case with the Jane Doe case in North Fairmount, which began in November 2023.
