A free celebration of art, music, food and fun returns to Clifton this September after six years.

For the first time since 2019, the Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) will host CliftonFest, a showcase of local arts and culture. The event, happening all day Sept. 13, will feature over 40 artisan vendors, 15 live performances, family activities and dozens of sidewalk chalk “art carpets.”

“It is so exciting to see CliftonFest return this year with a renewed focus on community and the artists that make our region such a vibrant place to live,” John Leo Muething, interim executive director of the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, said in a press release. “There are so many individuals and organizations who signed up to be involved in the revival of this celebration, which makes this year’s event particularly special. I can’t wait to see the community come together for this wonderful celebration.”

At CliftonFest, attendees can shop for handmade art and goods, enjoy food and drink from restaurants along Ludlow Avenue and watch live performances from Cincinnati bands Wild Carrot and Remember. There will also be beer from one of Cincinnati’s newest breweries, Mellotone Beer Project in Over-the-Rhine.
