The Cincinnati Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired will host Fun Fest 2026 on Saturday, June 6, from noon to 3 p.m. at Washington Park in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.
The free, family-friendly event is open to the public. Activities will include cornhole, games for all ages, live music from The Netherton Varner Band, food trucks and raffles. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet FC Cincinnati mascot Gary and Cincinnati Reds mascot Gapper. A split-the-pot drawing and online auction featuring tickets to local festivals, sporting events and concerts also are planned. Tickets for games and food will be available for purchase on-site.
“Fun Fest is more than just a community celebration,” said Aaron Bley, chief mission officer of the association. “It’s an opportunity to bring people together in one of Cincinnati’s most vibrant gathering spaces while raising awareness of services for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.”
Bley said immersive sensory activities at the event are designed to give attendees a sense of what it is like to live with a visual impairment.
Bidding for the online auction opens Friday, May 29. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs, though some seating will be provided. Parking is available in Washington Park’s staffed garage.
