“I’ve been on the road a bunch and working the city a lot,” says comedian Sean Donnelly. The city he’s referring to, of course, is New York.
“I’m still trying to get better,” he reports, which is something all great comics, no matter how successful, continue to do.
“(My set is) based on my life and has always been shorter jokes, but now I’m trying to make the jokes longer.”
Donnelly is also known for his crowd work, but he’s been retooling that lately as well. “I love comics who can make it look like stuff is coming right off the top of their heads.”
