Take dad to the Cincinnati Zoo this Father's Day and he'll get in free.

The zoo is offering free admission to fathers on Sunday, June 16 — a perfect time to visit with other animal dads including Jomo, the silverback gorilla; John, the lion; and Kimba, the giraffe.

There's also a special Hurray for Dads program from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday ($9-$13) where you can learn how different animal dads interact with their families. "From babysitters to breadwinners, the dads of many animal species take an active role in their families’ lives," reads the description. "We’ll take a hike around the Zoo, see an animal encounter and play a game to learn more about these important and often over-looked family members as we celebrate them on their special weekend."

10 a.m.-5 p.m. June 16. Entry at 9 a.m. for members. Other ticketing fees apply. The Cincinnati Zoo is located at 3400 Vine St., Avondale. More info at cincinnatizoo.org.
