‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ Author Brings the 'Diper Överlöde' Tour to Cincinnati Next Week

The "Diper Överlöde" tour is coming to Cincinnati to celebrate the upcoming release of the 17th Diary of a Wimpy Kid book of the same name.

Fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid books be prepared: The "Diper Överlöde" tour is coming to Cincinnati, celebrating the upcoming release of the 17th Diary of a Wimpy Kid book of the same name.  To make it more exciting, series author Jeff Kinney is bringing the band Löded Diper to town. 

At 7 p.m. on Oct. 26, Joseph-Beth Booksellers will host Kinney and the band at Mason Middle School, located at 6370 Mason-Montgomery Road. The band will take the stage for a fun evening of performance and opportunities for concertgoers to show off their own talents with singing and dancing. 

From the tour announcement, a bonus for Wimpy Kid fans:

Rodrick, a fan-favorite character of the series, is also at the forefront of the all-new animated film, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, premiering on Disney+ on December 2, 2022. The animated movie is based on the second book in the beloved series. A movie tie-in edition of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules featuring exclusive full-color, 3D animation art on the book cover will be released November 24, 2022, with a 1-million-copy announced first printing.
Admission is $14.99 for two people and includes one signed copy of Kinney's latest book in the series, Diper Överlöde (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #17).
